WhenitwastimetoleaveschoolIcouldn'twaittogohome.WhenIopenthedoor,therewasn'tanybodyinthehouse.Therewasonlyanotethatsaid,"inghomelatetonight,mumanddad."Itrytocallthembuttherewasnoanswer.Iwassoshocked,dotheyfetmybirthday?Howcouldthisbe!IwassosadthatIcouldn'teatanything.Ijustdidmyhomeworkandwaitedforthem.
Andthen,thingschangedpletely.Itwasabouttimefordinner,mymothercalledandtoldmetogototherestaurantnearourhouse.WhenIgotthereIcouldn'tbelievedmyeyes.Everybodywasthere:myparents,myrelatives,myfriendsandevenmyclassmates.Therewassomanygiftsandabigcake.Whatasurprisingbirthdayparty!Wehadagoodtimeanditwasthebestbirthdaypartyever.
今天是我的生日,我感到很兴奋。早上我给妈妈写了一张纸条放在桌子上：“今天是我的生日,不要忘记了!“在学校里,我收到了许多礼物和卡片的同学,拥有很多乐趣。但我还是期待着放学后的生日聚会。
放学后离开学校我迫不及待地回家了。当我打开门的时候,没有人在房子里。只有一张纸条,说:“爸爸和妈妈今晚会晚点回家。”我打电话给他们,但没有人接。我非常震惊,难道他们忘记了我的生日吗?这怎么可能!我很伤心,我没有吃任何东西。我一边做我的家庭作业,一边等待他们回家。
接下来,情况完全改变了。到了晚饭的时候,妈妈打电话告诉我去家附近的餐馆。当我到达那里，我简直不能相信我的眼睛。所有人都在:我的父母,我的亲戚,我的朋友,以及我的同学。还有很多礼物和一个大蛋糕。真是令人惊喜的生日聚会!我们玩得很开心,这是我过得最好的生日聚会。
